Learning Control of Quantum Systems Using Frequency-Domain Optimization Algorithms

We investigate two classes of quantum control problems by using frequency-domain optimization algorithms in the context ultrafast laser systems. In first class problems, system model is known and a gradient-based algorithm applied for searching an optimal field to selectively robustly manipulate population transfer atomic rubidium. The other involves experimental with unknown model. this case, we introduce differential evolution mixed strategy search fields demonstrate capability experiment fragmentation Pr(hfac) 3 molecules.
